LaVerne Cole was raised in Chesterfield County and founded Cole Real Estate, Inc. in 1960 while serving on active duty in the Air National Guard during the Berlin Crisis. Then, the focus of his business was mainly property management and residential sales. After 2 years he relocated Cole Real Estate, Inc. to 7101 Jefferson Davis Hwy, in Chesterfield County. Business began growing and more Realtors and supporting staff were added. In 1973, the business was moved to 2710 W. Hundred Road. By 2007, both business and the number of realtors increased, and a second office was established at 11400 Iron Bridge Road, Suite 200, Chester. The Commercial group remained at the former office, while the Residential, Management and Foreclosure groups located to the new site. After 47 years of serving Chesterfield, Richmond and the Tri-cities areas with their real estate needs, business at Cole Real Estate, Inc. is still growing! While growing his business and family, LaVerne was active in many areas of the community. LaVerne developed several communities and assisted in relocating numerous companies to Chesterfield and surrounding areas. LaVerne now specializes in commercial and industrial sales.
